First you forget names.
Then you forget faces.
Then you forget to pull up your zipper.

It's worse when you forget to pull it down!

By the Sea, By the Sea, By the Beautiful Atlantic Ocean

Thursday, Oct. 16 ~~ With being as far east as we were, I insisted on traveling to see the Atlantic Ocean. Rod had seen it before, even swam in it, when he was stationed in Massachusetts during his Army stint back in the early '70's. It was about a 140 mile drive from our hotel to Ocean City, MD. What a beautiful day for a trip to the beach -- low 80's, gentle ocean breeze, hardly any people (off-season) and we parked about 100 yards from the sand. I waded in the waves, picked up a few interesting shells, and thoroughly enjoyed the time there.
On the way back, we drove north along the coast of Delaware where most houses are built on pylons. There is a lot of beautiful countryside and farm land throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
