Where to Begin?

Oldest to youngest? Youngest to oldest? Ladies first? Interested in my he-men? Couldn't decide so I drew the name out of a hat -- really! So, here is the catchupdate on our # 5 child --

RILEY MILTON ANDERSON

Riley is 22 (birthday 23 is Sept 27), 6' 2" and is currently living in his 5th-wheel trailer on our property. His girlfriend of 4 years, Kari, lives with him. He still has not received his high school diploma or GED as he felt confined and claustrophobic in a classroom. He basically dropped out after his sophomore year. He is an example of doing well in his job without the "prestige" of a diploma. He works driving heavy excavation equipment, something he loves, and earns $20-30/hr. He is actually sought after by other large companies working in Tucson because of his work ethic and ability on the equipment. He would eventually like to have his own excavating company. Riley has an opportunity to become the supervisor on a major project that his boss will be starting next week. He would be in charge of the crew and all the legal contracts and such, something he has never done. The company is clearing and excavating land for the City of Tucson where the new public bus terminal will be built. The promotion is contingent on his boss taking another position and Riley accepting this one. It's a bit scarey for him to contemplate but it would mean very good money for him.

Riley has always been our outdoorsman. As our only truly blonde child (hair color, not mentality), he has had a perpetual tan since he was 3. And, as such, he thrills riding fast motorcycles, quads, and has his own motorboat. And, like his dad, he is his own mechanic. He worked for a local home builder for 2 years and learned enough to be able to build his own home someday. He is growing a good-size garden for us to enjoy, too.
