Some comments have already been said about our baby girl (see first posting). Margo is amazing! She was determined to attend Northern Arizona University 303 miles north of us instead of staying closer to home and attending a 2-year college with a large LDS population (over 500 in institute vs 100+ at NAU's). Her best friend from high school went with her as a roommate the first sememster but bailed on her (she didn't like it there). So Margo has been on her own since mid-December. Of course, she has met many new friends, mostly men, and is active in institute. After exploring psychology and interior design as possible majors (hated the classes), she settled on Business / Accounting. She took an accounting class in high school and really enjoyed it plue she likes math. She landed a part-time job in the Financial Aid office on campus. Any leftover scholarship money not applied for is often handed out to their employees. She will be moving to a new apartment in August that is practically on campus. She does have a car but walks or bikes to classes. She'll even walk the 2 miles to Walmart and enjoys exploring the many trails in the wooded areas. Flagstaff is at 7600 ft elevation and the wonderful smell of pine trees permeates the air.
Margo was our long-awaited 2nd daughter coming 9 1/2 years and 4 sons after Nora. She plays the flute -- in high school band all four years and selected for Eastern Arizona College High School Honors Band for 3 years (freshman are not allowed to me nominated or she would have gone then, too) and taught herself piano. On the varsity tennis team all four years of high school, she went to state each year, 2 years in doubles, and 2 as our #1 singles. She still plays when she can and has a job teaching tennis in an after-school program at two elementary schools in Flag. She also was an assistant tennis coach at one of the high schools this past spring. Unfortuately, her class schedule next semester does not allow her to continue doing the teaching. Always a good student, she was co-valetictorian of the 8th grade and in high school finished 5th in class of 72 with a GPA of 4.16. She earned a full-tuition waiver to NAU and it is renewable each year provided she maintains a 3.0 GPA each year. She enjoys meeting new people and likes visiting with older people. She is a great sense of humor and is very caring and affectionate.

A few fixes to the errors you made in my brag blog. I had a 4.17 GPA and Flagstaff is only at 7000 feet elevation. NAU has a 300+ student institute and I am the University 3rd Ward Relief Society Secretary. We just had our first meeting today and it went very well. All of church went very well actually and our relief society lesson was on being single instead of the usual, preparing to be a wife and mother. It was nice and a lot of discussion and comments were made.
